Service Durations define how much time a service requires.
The total time must be evenly divisible by the Appointment Interval. **The Appointment Interval is a very important setting.** It is the smallest unit of time recognized for the account. All service durations, business hours and staff hours are defined in multiples of the Appointment Interval. (See Administrator Business tab).
To define Duration options for a Service: Open Administrator from the Welcome Screen Choose Services from the menu on the top left Select the Service for which you are defining Durations. Open the Add option and select Duration The Duration is the number of minutes needed for the client in the appointment (Optional) Lead Time - number of minutes to block off on staff/resource schedule before client arrives (Optional) Post Time - number of minutes to block off on staff/resource schedule after client leaves (Optional) Enter a price. Enter 0 (zero) to omit a price. (Optional) Enter a start date, if the service is offered for a limited time, this is the first date it is offered (Optional) Enter an end date, if the service is offered for a limited time, this is the last date it is offered
Now set the Resource Assignments for this service duration Make sure the Duration you just added is selected. Click the cog icon to the far right of the selected duration. A popup will appear Check the names Staff or Resources that will provide this service Click Save to complete the Staff/Resource Assignments
