Business Hours Overview
Business hours constrain the availability of ALL staff schedules. Business hours are comprised of Business Regular Hours and Business Exception Hours. Business Regular Hours define a regular weekly schedule. Business Exception Hours override Business Regular Hours and can be used to "close" (i.e. take away from Business Regular Hours) or "open" (i.e. add to Business Regular Hours) the business for appointment scheduling.

Closing the business for specified times automatically makes all staff unavailable. Opening the business for overtime still requires you to specify staff overtime to tell the system which staff accept appointments during the overtime period.

*IMPORTANT: When setting up either regular hours or exception hours the highlighted blocks ALWAYS indicate open hours/availability. In the exception hours view when you take away highlighted blocks you are setting up time off. When you add highlighted blocks you are setting up overtime.

To set Business Regular Hours

Go to the Administrator
Select the Business tab (top left)
Select the Regular Hours tab (top right)
Click the Edit button (bottom right, below schedule grid)
Select the hours during which the business accepts appointments
Click the Save button (bottom right)
