Business Daily hours are date specific. They override Business Weekly Hours, or they can be used exclusively when there is no weekly schedule defined. Most often they are used to set up exceptions to the weekly schedule, like holidays or extended times.
Open the Availability Manager either:
- From the Administrator - flash free, Choose Availability from the menu on the top left. OR - From the Receptionist - flash free, Click the Availability button (top right)
Blue panel: Make selections Select Business (You must be an Administrator user to access this option.)
Select the option Daily Hours (exceptions) Choose an option either Multi-date : Select up to 30 specific dates throughout the year. or Date range : Then choose the start and end dates of the date range up to 30 dates. (More dates take more time to load!)
Green panel: Choose an action or change selections When your selections in the blue panel are complete. You'll see actions in the green panel. Initially the only action is View. Click the View button (The selected schedule will appear.)
Click the Edit button to make changes. Click and drag the mouse to highlight (i.e. open) business hours. On touch devices you can touch the top left time cell, then touch the bottom right time cell to select an area of time. Save when updates are complete.
Notice**: Dates when exceptions are in place have a white background. When you see this you will also have an action Clear Exceptions. This is a great new feature. It allows you to switch exceptions off and on, then save the one you want.
